Overview
Boatiog is a personal log book for recording your sailing and boating activity and weekends out.
At it's heart is a nuatical log book, enabling to to make regular entries of position, course, speed, weather etc. It'll automatically enter your position and COG/SOG, and you can set an alarm to remind you when to make another entry.
However it'll also do more...
- Track your position so you can see the course you've taken on a map
- Record details of your crew and expenses, and even calculatate how to share the kitty and email that to them.
- Peronalise your memory of the trip by adding photos and notes.
Please note: SOLAS regulations give a duty on Skippers to maintain a record of navigational activities. I make no representation as to the suitability of this app to meet that requirement. Personally, when skippering I use it to assist me in the capture of data for recording in the (physical) log book on board.
